Joe began his journey with Mako in 2008 in the technology department, which later led to him assuming the role of Global Head of Technology Infrastructure. This role was directly supporting initiatives to transform Mako's trading approach, ushering in a new era of automation and latency sensitive trading strategies. In 2016, Joe relocated to Singapore as Chief Operating Officer for APAC, tasked with establishing and developing Mako's presence in the region. Since January 2020, Joe has been leading Mako's Asia Pacific business as Managing Director, working to cultivate and expand high-performance teams across the region to drive and support Mako's strategic vision. Following the successful acquisition of Liquid Capital's APAC business, Joe has recently relocated to Sydney, where he will continue to lead and expand Mako's presence in the region.
Outside of work, Joe enjoys playing football and golf and is a lifelong Arsenal supporter. Joe holds a BSc Hons in Computer Science from the University of Essex, UK.
